This is a Makita hand router, but it is often used as the spindle on smaller CNC machines.  The nice thing is that you do not need a Variable Frequency Drive to run it, it plugs in directly to 220V power.  This makes it very good value for money.

It has an on/off switch on the router and a variable speed control knob as well.  This kit also includes a dust collection cover if needed.
